Thank you very much.  Did you activate the TTS by powering up, then touching and holding 2 fingers on the screen until TTS activates?  I will definitely check out that link.

I am using the kindle fire.  You can start the speech when you take it out of the box.  I haven't had a chance to play with it much yet.  But there is a nice demo of it by th a t guys.  And it costs around 70 bucks for the
onboard sixteen model   So far, I like what I have seen.

Is anyone using the Kindle device?  I am asking here specifically about a device itself?  If so, how accessible is it.  Can one activate the TTS without sighted assistance as with Android devices?  Just curious to know more and hear others' experience, and which Kindle device is best.
