Subject: TSA Disability Notification Card and Icon on TSA.gov

Good Afternoon,

TSA's Disability Branch has some important information we would like to
share with you and your organization. Please distribute this information
throughout your networks.

TSA Disability Notification Card: TSA has improved its Disability
Notification Card to include important contact information for TSA Cares.
The new card is available on TSA.gov in a format that is compliant with
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Travelers with disabilities or
medical conditions can use TSA's Disability Notification Card to discreetly
notify TSA Officers at security screening of a disability or medical
condition and request an accommodation. TSA's Disability Notification Card
does not exempt a traveler from security screening, but it provides a way to
discreetly inform a TSA Officer about a disability, medical condition or
device that may affect security screening. All travelers must go through
security screening. The wallet size card is located at
https://www.tsa.gov/travel/special-procedures and it can be completed
online, printed and handed to the TSA officer. Based on public feedback, the
Disability Notification Card now includes contact information for TSA Cares.

Disability Icon on TSA.gov: TSA has improved access to, and content of,
information for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions with an
icon on the landing page of TSA.gov. The icon leads visitors to important
information and resources for travelers with disabilities and medical
conditions in one click, thus improving accessibility of this information
for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. In addition,
TSA's Office of Public Affairs is disseminating information for travelers
with disabilities and medical conditions through @ASKTSA, Facebook, and
TSA's running blog at TSA.gov.

We are very grateful for your time and consideration. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at
