[nfb-talk] Here he comes...

Althought I agree with Dave, that moving to another country is a very
unpractical solution, we should not have to. We should insist upon
leadership that has our best interests in mind, and not always their own. I
think we all are well aware of the electorial college's purpose, but over
the years, like so many other things, it too has changed. No longer does the
electorial college protect us in the way it was intended.
I believe we now live in a time when americans like to be entertained. Look
how often we see individuals on their phones, or planted in front of the TV,
not even willing to communicate with family and friends. We like shock and
things that make us say "wow." Trump filled all of that. He entertains, he
is rude and crude, which americans like. Women are belittled, and in some
parts of the country trust me, that's the in thing. Even his claims are
impractical. Is another country really going to pay us for a wall that they
do not want?
It disturbs and confuses me when I see that disabled people voted for him.
Well, if the disabled person has a good job and a lot of money in savings I
can understand, but for those who live off SSI and SSD, it remains a mystery
to me. Do they realize their way of life could drastically change? There has
been talk of reductions in Social Security, Medicade and Medicare. What will
they do then? I also wonder, tongue and cheek of course, what he will do
when he finds out that the federal government has so many disabled
employees. Will he turn us all out on to the street? lol
