Good afternoon Michael and everyone,

I am looking for the same kind of suggestions or strategies.
Right now, when I go out, I use a Rollator Walker and have to put the cane
in front of it. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let us know, or
you can right me off list privately.

Thanks in advance.

Mary Donahue

Subject: [NFB-Talk] Using A Walker and a white cane
Sensitivity: Personal

Hello: I must use a walker to get around. In my house, I'm okay with using
the walker without the cane because I know my surroundings. However, once
outside the door, I need to have my cane with me.

I use the long cane and not a folding or telescoping cane. Trying to
maneuver the walker and cane is very tedious.

I'm looking for successful strategies people are employing to make this
doable.

Thank you.
