[NFB-Talk] Newsline SSurvey.

Hello, All,

Today I got an e-mail inviting me to take part in the Newsline survey being
promoted.

As I enjoy Newsline, I happily began the survey, only to find that my mode
of access is not represented. I have been using the Android platform for
years, since 2013, and my note taker also operates on the Android platform.

I only use the phone to access Newsline, but theIos platform is the only one
represented for the phone, other than touch tone phone access, which I don't
have.

I am suggesting that the survey make the minor addition of the Android
platform as a choice of access for those of us who access with our Android
mobile devices.

When I suggested this correction in a return e-mail, I was told to simply
place web site accessibility as my choice instead. I don't agree with this
suggestion as it is forcing me to give a false answer on the survey that is
supposed to report accurate results in the first place.

I am recommending that anyone using their Android mobile device to access
Newsline to please contact Scott White to let him know how many blind
persons are actually on the Android platform to raise awareness with the
NFB.

A very minor request, I know, but is something that was brought to my
attention.

I will not be taking this survey until I can truthfully and accurately
report, and I do love my Newsline access.

Thanks to all who can help NFB improve on accurate reporting.

Judy
