Mark,

With the microphone connected go into Zoom and to audio settings. You can select the microphone from a list. In my experience, using JAWS, once in the audio settings and going to the Microphone selection box I arrow to the microphone then I move the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor to select it. You then also can test your audio settings within Audio settings.

If you have problems feel free to give me a call, (415) 827-4084.

Best Regards,

Michael Hingson

Subject: [NFB-Talk] Computer Microphone

Hello everyone. I just received my computer microphone from Amazon today. It is a desktop microphone. I have it connected into one of my USB ports and I’d like to use it for Zoom meetings and maybe to talk on Skype. However, I’m not sure how to set it up so that I can actually be heard. Any assistance here would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
