Hello Phoenix chapter members

It has been brought to my attention that everyone may not be on the main
form of open communication for our chapter. So, Below is the information on
the primary form of communication going forward for the chapter, and how you
can stay in the loop, as well as contribute to the growth of our chapter.
Yes, we want to know what you think, and ideas, comments, concerns, and
events going on with you. We are stronger together, and thereby, we must
have a means of communicating together.

. Through this list, you can expect to receive information on upcoming
meetings, our special guests, updates with the chapter, and more.

Speaking of which, we have a special guest coming in tomorrow that you won't
want to miss, whether you're in the East valley, West, or your main chapter
is the Phoenix chapter. And, we've already got a special guest scheduled to
present at our February chapter meeting. Yes, the Phoenix chapter has big
plans for growth, and contributing to the blind living the lives they want.

Maybe you've heard his name being whispered around, but we're very fortunate
to have him here in Arizona, and to have him here with us at our January
chapter meeting. Richard Sorie will be in the house tomorrow!

In the future, we hope to be able to provide even more value than just
communicating upcoming events, such as philosophy education, fund-raising
efforts, legislative updates, and more.

Here's the information on how to sign up.

The NFBA-Phoenix list's purpose is to engage, grow, and share with our
existing and future members the activities, groups, and committees
associated with the NFB Phoenix chapter as we continue to build a
Federation. Providing a means of consistent, clear, and open communication
within the Phoenix chapter is an important step in growing and building our
Federation, our chapter, and this list will serve as an adjunctive vehicle
to do that. We invite members and leaders of National, other affiliates, and
chapters, to join our list to participate in this line of communication so
we can grow stronger together.

Topics of communication and discussion will include NFB philosophy,
membership engagement, membership growth, community outreach, legislative
concerns and activity, fund-raising, and sharing the successes and
achievements of our Federationists.

Looking forward to building a great Federation here in 2017!
