[NFBA-Phoenix] For all those attending the norma Robertson Wagner annual picnic this Saturday

Hello to all you fellow Federationists;
With the picnic right around the corner, it occurred to me that I should talk to each of you about safety. Summer is right around the corner but I think it’s hotter than it usually is at this time of year. Therefore, Ih encourage each and everyone of you to bring a water bottle and extra water to the picnic toy stay hydrated. Although some of our members are bringing beverages for everyone, I would rather have plenty then to have not enough to go around. Make sure that you pack yourself some sunscreen and or wear a ball cap if su susceptible to getting a sunburn. Some of our members have already been instructed that if they have an extra cooler to bring it, however, if you have an extra cooler to spare, please mark it so we can identify that it is yours and bring it to the picnic. One of our members  will get ice for each cooler after you arrive so that we can keep food fresh and drinks cold. If you have a food allergy, please let us know and if needed, we will check with the person that brings specific items to make sure that you don’t need specific items. This may only apply to dessert items but I want to make sure that your safety comes first. And finally, I want to remind you guys that we will have an auction, a 50-50 raffle, and sell dessert items to our members and we are also still selling lanyards.. If you do not bring cash for our fundraisers, then you should be aware that this year we will be able to take credit or debit cards however, cash is always acceptable. Remember that it is because of these fundraisers that we are able to help our members to attend state and national conventions and even provide a new PA system for this very picnic.
