From NFBA State Secretary and East Valley Chapter member, James Garrett Mooney
Hello fellow East Valley chapter members,  On Monday, January 15, at 7:00 PM we will be holding a preparation meeting via conference call for those members who will be attending the Phoenix seminar. During this meeting, we will be going over all three key pieces of legislation. I have attached the talking points in which we will be using to address lawmakers. Please go over them before attending the meeting.   The conference line number is 605.475.6777, and the access code is 1221.  The Phoenix seminar will be held on January 16 at the Arizona State capital. We will be meeting at 9:00 AM in the third-floor conference room in the executive Tower. The address for the Arizona state capital is 1700 Washington ST.   At 9:00 AM we will be going over the talking points and answering any unanswered questions. Additionally, individuals will find out what time their meeting is with law makers. Once the meeting ends at 10:00 we will split off into our groups to walk to our meetings.    For those who feel as if they can't talk to law makers or nervous to, we would like you to not worry. Each group will have an experienced member of the legislative committee who will help them through the meeting. Please do not let your nerves be the reason why you do not come. Having members attend is what helps us pass our legislation. This is an event you have a direct effect in our movement by being present.  Sincerely,
