[Nfbc-info] FYI FW: Weekly Update on Space Available Legislation and action request

Good Afternoon,

 

     I wanted to give you all the latest numbers on our Space Available
legislation in the House of Representatives, HR 164, and in the Senate, S
346.  The House bill is currently showing 80 cosponsors, however that number
should increase to 82 today.  I have attached the updated House cosponsor
lists to this message.  We are showing 10 Cosponsors on the Senate bill, and
that should increase by 1 today; I have listed the Senate cosponsors below
this message.  I would also like you all to select one Republican and one
Democrat from your congressional House delegations, and ask your affiliates
to contact their offices next week and ask them to cosponsor this bill.  If
you want help to identify the correct staff members, let me know by Monday
morning which offices you need information for, and I will get the
information to you by the close of Business Monday.  I realize that some of
you only have one party to choose from, so I would ask you to pick two
members of that party.  Congratulations to our Rhode Island affiliate for
completing their work in the House, and to our Oregon affiliate for
completing their work in the Senate  on this Issue.  Please let me know if
