Hi Chuck,

I am so sad to hear the news that Jan has passed.  Please let her husband know that Robert and I are sending him and their families our sympathy.  She tried hard to make the Central Valley chapter grow!  She was a very good chapter president and a great fundraiser for the Central Valley chapter.

I am sorry to report that long time Federationist Jan Kafton passed away yesterday after a long illness. She had multiple health issues and had been living in a skilled nursing facility for the last year and a half. At some point there will be a memorial for her but I don�t know details yet.
