Not sure if this is relevant but I thought I'd share that there is a new
app for iPhone users caqlled Be My Eyes and it is a very simple to use
app with voiceover, and I perused the bemyeyes.org site and saw an
android link, so don't fully quote me on this one, but I think both
android and iOS users may benefit from it, all I saw was what I saw am
sure you can get your questions answered by going to the web site:
http://www.bemyeyes.org
Let me know how it works and if you like it should you guys be bold and
courageous and hey the app is free.
A sighted friend of mine is volunteering.

Teachers have a sacred task:
It is to give children the skills to understand the world and an expectation that the world is a trustworthy place; that it is full of light, and love, and music and that each student deserves--and will have--their own place in it and the chance to play their own song.
And, as much of these expectations are transmitted non-verbally—and in Chela’s case--out of sight…it is the voice and touch of a Teacher that sheds light on what the world can be.
Academics—and no one will ever change my mind on this—take a distant second place. —Former Orientation & Mobility Instructor Dr. Bil Hawkins
