Dear all,

Many of you—along with us—have been digesting the recent sexual
misconduct testimonials that have been coming out recently in regards
to NFB members. We admire the courage it takes for any survivor to
share their story, and we hope every leader in this organization does
the same. Everyone on the CABS board is available if anyone wants to
talk, about this issue and in general. We—the California student
division board—will never tolerate inappropriate behavior like this in
the division. Perpetrators will be immediately removed from the
division, and we encourage all chapters to take the same approach.
Further, we urge state and national leaders to continue developing and
enforcing practices to minimize incidences of sexual misconduct, and
to clarify those practices to the general membership.

There are very few announcements this week. The holidays are here, and
we want to remind everyone to take care of themselves. Spend time with
friends and family, watch some movies, play some games, and rest for
the months ahead. Join us for our holiday party on Wednesday. And be
sure to wear masks when you’re in public not among family.

Lastly, the committee chairs and co-chairs have been finalized! The
Affiliate communications Squad leadership consists of Shelbi Felter,
Ethan Fung, and Lindsay Kerr. They will continue meeting on the first
Saturday of the month, at 3:00 PM Pacific. The outreach leaders are
Gene kim and Mary Church, and Bhavya Shah; they meet on the third
Saturday of the month at 4:00 PM Pacific.  Fundraising consists of
Kyle Garcia, Nikki dadlani, and Aaron Espinoza; they meet on the third
Saturday of the month at 5:00 PM Pacific. Here’s the Zoom link for all
