[NFBC-Info] IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT NFB OF CALIFORNIA CONVENTION HOTEL RESERVATIONS

	Hello everyone!  If you have been trying to make reservations for the 2025 NFB of
California Convention for the weekend of March 14-16 2025 and have been having trouble, or if
you are planning to make reservations at the convention hotel, yu need to read this!

	First, remember that in order to secure rooms at the convention rate of $159/night plus
tax, you must make your reservations before February 21, 2025.

Next, because of the wild fires, the national reservation desk is unable to make reservations
for our room block.  To make reservations, please call Jared Sanchez at the Doubletree directly
at: 714-383-7011.  Most likely, you'll get his voicemail.  When you get his voicemail,
leave yur name, phone number, the fact that you're reserving rooms for the NFB convention, the
dates and number of rooms you want to reserve.  Then, if yu don't hear back from him, be
persistent about calling him back during business hours.  I strongly discourage you from
leaving any payment information on his voicemail.  If yu don't get Jared directly, yu don't
have a reservation!

Hopefully, this situation will be resolved soon and the national desk will be able to take our
reservations again.
