Ella le informará sobre sus derechos como inmigrante y lo que debe hacer si
está detenido. Ella también nos informará qué esperar y qué puede hacer el
gobierno mexicano por usted si es deportado.



Muchas personas en nuestras comunidades latinas están preocupadas y
asustadas, con una buena razón con respecto al aumento de las acciones y
tácticas demasiado agresivas de los E.U. Agentes de Inmigración y Control
de Aduanas en nuestros vecindarios que detienen a la gente en las calles.
Esto, junto con tanta desinformación, ha dejado mucha ansiedad y
preocupación por parte de la comunidad latina.



¿Sabrías qué hacer o decir si ICE te detuviera o te acercara?



¿Sabes qué hacer o tu familia tiene un plan si te detienen y te deportan?



El Cónsul Adjunto también se tomará algún tiempo para responder a sus
preguntas e inquietudes.



Esta reunión está abierta a todos, independientemente de su estatus legal.

regardless of your legal status who are concerned and worried about
yourself, family, friends or neighbors to join us on Saturday, Feb 7th at

Console Nora Ramirez Cervamtez.

She will inform you about your rights as an immigrant and what you should
do if you are detained. She will also inform us, what to expect and what
the Mexican government can do for you if you are deported.

Many people in our Latino communities are worried and scared, with good
reason regarding the increase overly aggressive actions and tactics by U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in our neighborhoods detaining
people on the streets. This coupled with so much misinformation has let to
much anxiety and worry by the Latino community.

Would you know what to do or say if you were detained or approached by ICE?

Do you know what to do or does your family have a plan if you are detained
and deported?

The Deputy Console will also take some time to answer your questions and
concerns.

This meeting is open to everyone regardless of legal status.
