[nfbcs] good linux text mode browser

Hey Trev,
I'm not sure what you mean by "haven't had too much success."
I can list the major text mode browsers I'm aware of that run on
LInux. They all have one serious drawback, which is they don't know
anything about javascript. So, any website which requires javascript
in your browser to run won't work with them.
lynx: Good text based browser. It does not handle tables very well,
and gives up a lot of formatting. It is very good for shwoing you
text based sites quickly and efficiently. I use lynx a lot
when doing google searches, reading wikipedia articles, and
rendering html based email messages.
elinks: elinks works in some situations where lynx falls down. It
renders tables well, and preserves more formatting than lynx.
Its downside is that you use the [ and ] keys to pan left and
right across a web page. This can be very confusing.
w3m: w3m is emacs based, and so tends to work well with emacspeak.
I haven't used it much myself, but I do know people who like
it and use it as their primary web browser.
