[nfbcs] how to fix a corrupted windows mail box

hi.
got a corrupted windows mail application.
or a corrupted in box.
when i go to press the alt key with jaws.
says menu active and the file menu.
but when i try to arrow to the tools menu.
it says menus goes away or just then says outlook express and the list view 
i am in like in box.
so how to fix a corrupted windows mail .
is there an easier way to do this without having to reinstall vista.
using home premium sp2, jaws 10.0.154, internet explorer 7.
