[nfbcs] External disk drive

You're right.  It's very quiet, but I feel it humming away when I turn it on.

I tried it with the laptop, and got the same results--it makes the USB
noise, but the drive doesn't show up on My Computer.
I re-connected it to my PC, went to Device Manager, and told it to update
the driver, but it says there is no better driver found than the one I
have installed, even though I had the manufacturer's disc in the CD drive.
I don't know what to try next.
