[nfbcs] Blind folks and the IPhone

Much as I love my iPhone and Mac, I think I agree; for what you do, a lightweight laptop or netbook may well serve you better. While a thin and light notebook may be more expensive than the 32- or 64-GB iPad, it may also be a better fit for your business use.

>>> The people at the Apple store? I'm surprised. Not only is the iPad accessible (it uses the same software as the iPhone and iPod Touch), but Apple has at least three blind people working at retail Apple locations in outward facing (i.e. Apple specialist) positions. I would go back to your Apple store and ask that your fine Apple store reps discuss this with their superiors; or, even better, that they call the Chicago, Birmingham, or Georgetown stores and ask them.
