Greetings and felicitations:

The 2011 annual meeting of the National Federation of the Blind in Computer
Science will take place on Tuesday, July 5, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at
the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida. I am very excited about
the fully-packed program that is being offered this year. Here is an
illustrative list of some of the program items:

*	A discussion with Adobe about what has and has not worked in terms
of access by the blind to its various products
*	A presentation by Serotek discussing its innovative line of products
to improve access by the blind to a variety of information sources and
services
*	Two program items discussing access to various Android-based
products and services
*	A long-awaited presentation from Yahoo about the work that has been
going on at that company to improve access to its products and services by
the blind

People who choose to pay the $5 registration will be eligible for a drawing
that will be held at the end of the meeting for a free copy of Serotek's
System Access Mobile screen access program as well as a three-month free
subscription to Serotek's Remote Incident Manager. Thanks to Serotek for
this most generous contribution.

For those of you who will be attending the meting, I am putting out a call
for help with registration and the collection of names for the drawing. If
you are interested and willing to help, I ask that you please contact Susie
Stanzel, NFB in Computer Science Treasurer. Susie Stanzel's email address
is Susan.STANZEL at KCC.USDA.GOV.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando, Florida.

Yours sincerely,

Curtis Chong, President
National Federation of the Blind in Computer Science
