Here is some information

Denise,
To contact the nearest library by you that services Blind and
Physically Handicapped Go to http://www.loc.gov/nls/find.html (link
pasted above), In the choose material drop down box select your state.
In the single edit box type, your county (if you want not required).
Under the heading display options check as few or as many things as
you want displayed. My recommendation would be since she is not
getting the computer thing very quick to check the first box. Get that
info of the address .phone. and the directors name who runs the
program. Have her contact the number you provided and go through the
auto mated system or ask for a rep. for the NLS program and ask them
if you can get some directions or have them help her learn over the
phone. I did that when I had a issues or something I could not figure
out. They most likely will not help with technology issue, bugs, or
anything in depth regarding why something is not working, but they
will provide you with the necessary information to get started. The
hours can be found on the web or call Monday through Friday before
5pm, most of the time that is when they close. For technical issues
contact Scott Norris at: norriss5 at michigan.gov or (800) 992-9012, to
contact a rep for tech support.
If you have any other questions about NLS or services like this please
feel free to contact me off list at blindhelfultech at gmail.com (not my
primary email used for lists, but I do reply)
Please just make sure that you have NLS in the subject the first time,
after that I will get your email so no need to do that every time
unless you use another email address. Just preventing spam through
Google this is a way of filtering emails down to a manageable amount.
Let me know if this helps and wish you the best,
Nadia C.

If you have more of a detailed subject on what you want to know. Feel
free to contact me again.
