There's a software package called dimension4 (D4TIME) that enables sync with
several time servers including that of NIST. Don't know if it works with
Wndows 7 or 64-bit processors, though.

I have my computer set to synchronize once a day, but I can't recall
how I did it.  I suggest google.  I think it might have been some sort
of registry hack.  Anyway, it is at least possible.
