[nfbcs] Running JAWS on Windows on a Mac - Issues?

Hello again,

Thanks everyone for your input. The purchase is to upgrade some laptops that I use for my robotics workshops for teens who are visually impaired. I use both Mac and PC, but the software used for the robotics programming is PC only (BricxCC). The PC laptops just have not held up as well as the Macs that we have in our experience. We use laptops since we travel to hold the workshops sometimes. We ran info some issues when we ran JAWS a few years ago on Macs that booted into Windows XP (dual booted via Bootcamp). It seemed to be more of a JAWS issue than an XP issue, but there was a weird thing that would happen with the video so it seemed there may have been some incompatibility with the video card used in the MacBook Pro at the time. Now that both JAWS and Mac hardware has evolved since then I wanted an up-to-date opinion from you all. We will be using the latest JAWS with Win7. Some laptops will have Zoomtext, but we have a better handle Zoomtext so I don't have any questions about running it.

The key substitutions are less of an issue for us, as it was more of a concern about general compatibility.

Thanks again,
--Steph
