I suppose it is no more over-the-top than Richard Nixon saying that the
first trip to the moon was as monumental for humankind as was the creation.

My only problem with it is that I find the assertion that the iPhone is the
most revolutionary thing for the blind since the invention of Braile to be a
bit ludicrous. Also, when ascertaining where one is when traveling, I keep
wondering what happened to All-Purpose-Rule Z -- ask. (grin)

Kornowski, is definitely worth a read.  I may not agree with every assertion
made in the article, but it does underscore the significant impact that the
iPhone has made on the lives of a lot of blind people.
