[nfbcs] Reading BRF Files

I solved the same problem 5 years ago by buying a used Pac Mate. It cost
$1,500. But they go a lot cheaper than even that today on the Pac Mate list,
pmlist at pacmategear.com. I really like my Pac Mate for a lot of years. I
used to use it for email, web browsing, reading books from bookshare,
listening to mp3s, and even as a portable GPS.

I haven't checked the Freedom Scientific web site for a couple of years but
a new Pac Mate is $5,00. That seems like a lot of money for what it does.
The conventional wisdom is that an iPad or iPod Touch and a bluetooth
braille display is your best bet.
