[nfbcs] digitizing Hard-copy Braille

Hi all.

I need to digitize a book written in Esperanto Braille containing the
rules for that Braille system.  The book has historical importance.

Does anyone know of a good way to digitize hard-copy Braille, aside
from the obvious method of hand-keying?  I'm aware of the OBR
application, but I'd rather not pay $1,000 for this one project.  It
would likely be cheaper for me to just hire someone to retype it.
