[nfbcs] FW: [IDevices] Your Help Is Needed, Apple Feedback

I concur with Jim's thoughts below. Additionally, although I haven't used a
Bluetooth keyboard in such situations, it seems to me that the last time I
did so, an Apple wireless Bluetooth keyboard worked fine. I did not
encounter the difficulty the original post implied. But then I usually use
earbuds or a headset in situations such as this anyway.

Hey Susie,

Can you explain how this is impacting blind people specifically? Why are we
not able to simply use the numbers on the on screen keyboard With a pair of
headphones? I understand that if you have a Bluetooth keyboard, it would be
more convenient to use those numbers. However, is this any different than it
would be for sighted folks?

Thank you,

Jim

on your bluetooth keyboard while on a phone call, you have found that it
doesn't work. This is a problem that Apple has not addressed and although
the engineers have been made aware of the problem, it still hasn't been
resolved.

IPhone in the amount of time allotted for many of the services we may call.
IE: banking service, ordering products with a credit card, etc. For those
that use a bluetooth keyboard this process would be much simpler if only we
could use the numbers on the keyboard.

timely manner, Apple needs to hear from us. The more people that send them
feedback on this problem the more likely the engineers will take it
seriously.

let them know that you would like to see this problem be corrected. Let
them know that you should be able to use Voiceover and the numbers on a
bluetooth keyboard while on a phone call. Be courteous when making your
complaint but also let them know how much this affects you.
