okeydoey...let me give more directions. On windows 7, go to all programs,
arrow to the website you want to pin, applications key, pin to task bar---
XP, go to all programs and do the same above
If your icon happens to be on your desktop, you can applications key and
pin to taskbar
If the website does not happen to be in all programs or on the desktop,
then do the following
IE, go to file, go to send and go to send to desktop and follow the
directions above
If for some reason you just cannot find the pin to task bar in any of the
above situations

For a more advanced user who understands the routing of jaws cursor (or
someone who just wants to learn how to do it all)...this one gets you far
Ok, let's say you want to pin google.com to the taskbar...open google
tab.....get to the URL, alt d or ctrl l depending on IE or firefox...tab
until you get to the google.com TAB. make sure num lock is off, (place your
mouse at least 3 inches up so you can move it down 3 inches when I say) put
your thumb on the insert key and middle finger on the - and route your
cursor to the tab...now hit left mouse button which is the / on the num
pad ....now that your mouse is set in position, click the left side of the
mouse that all those sighted people are using and slide the mouse down and
slightly toward the right (and I mean slightly--moving a mouse goes a long
way--I am taking a couple centimeters here)---for newbies, it takes a bit
of practice, but you will get it perfectly every time...once again, with
practice. Using the routing of cursors will make almost anything accessible
and/or moveable--very powerful

Once you practice this a lot...you may need to get rid of some things on
the taskbar, start key m to go to desktop and Tab to taskbar...arrow to
icon, applications key and unpin

practice will make you perfect on this

Let me know if you need more direction
Denise
