Hello

Can you add more memory to your old laptop hisI also have rejuvenated laptops by removing all of the software and then reinstalling. reinstall the service packs as much as possible rather than going for all of the updates will save you time and may save updates that you might not want. I  also was choosy about what software I reinstalled on the machine. Ccleaner can help with registry issues and other problems that can cause freezes and lockups yes JAWS does take a lot of memory and can slow a computer down jaws also just keeps getting bigger. one of the things I have done on my old computers is to not install newer versions of jaws.
