In that case, yes. Just use the command prompt:
Cp -f -r oldlocation newlocation
I do this when I am trying to make a complete backup of my harddrive. It
will skip files if they are in use or otherwise inaccessible.

SSD stands for ("solid state disk drive").
I.E., flash drive.
