He said C9omputer Science -- not "Computer Science
Professionals." This list is sponsored by the NFB in Computer
Science -- a division of the nFB. Its official description reads:

The purpose of the National Federation of the Blind in
Computer Science
mailing list is for the Discussion of the business and operation of the NFB
in Computer Science. It is a way for our members to keep in contact with each
other, to discuss the business and operation of the division and to share
information about the worlds of computer science and technology with
each other.

So, this is pretty broad. As I said in a previous message, I think
our past practice has been to allow support and maintenance questions
as long as they don't take over the list. Our current discussion, of
alternative tools like transistor radios and light probes is exactly
the kind of thing that this list is good for -- it seems to me.
