[nfbcs] Corrupt User Profile

My point was that this was more for computer science-like stuff. If you
call troubleshooting a virus cs, awesome. I call it tech support. It's
not even occasional tech support, it's constant babbling about crap that
clutters the inbox. My point was that this list seems to fit a broad
category. I really enjoy reading emails like the current ones where
people are talking about adapting things, but when it's another of
Peter's tech support problems, updates about money from the
brother-in-law, etc etc it gets redundant. Eventually if everyone thinks
this list is for tech support everyone will flock here and it won't be
the weekely question from Peter, but it will be pretty insane and drown
everything else out and I'm sure that'd have to be stopped.

Rule of thumb for any list: If something is sometimes acceptable but
only sometimes, then it be accepted. You'll start running into "but he
did it, can I just ask this question" type scenarios and everyone will
start making acception for their cases. I've heard this week about
viruses, cloud solutions, what "benching" is, a brother-in-law who owes
them money and what they plan to do about it, a girl who went over and
was yelled at for daring to open an internet connection and whatever
else I managed to delete. There comes a point when one user floods a
list and not much more gets out past the garbage.

He that will not reason is a bigot; he that cannot reason is a fool; he that dares not reason is a slave.
