Sorry to respond to my own post. When I posted, I was assuming Freedom 
Scientific still didn't have the exact prices on their web site. But now 
they have an on-line store where the prices are pretty clear. The base 
price for jaws with remote access is $1,295. With the service agreement, 
it's $1,495. The reason I'm asking is that I'm in the Lions Club and I'm 
what is called a "tail twister". It's actually an official officer's 
position. I have to come up with a reason for extorting an extra dollar 
from each member every meeting. I like to ask about the cost of 
different tools for the blind. How much was this hardware speech synth? 
How much was this braille display? Closest guess without going over gets 
2 dollars back.


I think including remote access in the price is fair.  A lot of people 
would need that to do their job. I am not so sure about including the 
SMA in the price.
