You can try it before buying; it doesn't expire, just doesn't load the entire document.

Works great with NVDA, Windoweyes and JAWS. A little strange with Braille. Usually around $30 but goes on sale sometime. 

Adobe digital editions is OK if you have to read a protected epub file.
