Thanks; I know how to manuall install scripts even in JAWS 18 so that will work fine. Now I just need the cisco ID.

I've used Cisco Jabber 10.6.4 and JAWS scripts with...I'm not sure that I'd say success, but I am at least able to place calls, see who's calling me, and receive calls.

I believe you can sign up for a Cisco ID for free in order to download the scripts.

The installer for the scripts does not correctly handle versions later than 16. You can treat the installer as a zip file, extract it, and copy the scripts into place. You may need to make a couple other changes along the way. I think the instructions have information on how the scripts can be installed using a more manual process. Let me know if you go this route and I can take a look.

It's unified communications and has instant messaging, conferencing, calendaring and all sorts of other communications-oriented abilities. It is using a Cisco-specific protocol, not sip, otherwise I'd just use a more accessible client like Phoner Lite or MicroSip.

I have an accessibility guide from Cisco with keyboard shortcuts, so I can make, answer and decline calls, but I can't figure out how to do anything else, and if I'm in the wrong place, pressing Enter sends an instant message or does something else I didn't plan to do. I think screen readers have no idea where the focus is located most of the time. In particular they find many unlabeled edit boxes, and I can't figure out what each one is for, or in which one I'm typing.
