This is very helpful. Once you are on a call, there are a few other unlabeled buttons as well. The mute button is labeled, thankfully.

I will write the developer and edit this a bit to add to my Applevis review. Thanks so much Joshua.

On the main page of the iOS app, the only unlabeled button is the settings button.

Once within the app, you are placed in the middle where it reads "FreeConferenceCall is an online meeting service..."

>From here, if you swipe right to left:
After "Live Meeting" These are the unlabeled buttons:
- Exit conference: you must confirm leaving conference if you accidently press this
- Volume: Alter how you want audio routed (speaker or earpeice) which is inaccessible to the screenreader. There is no focus available for the pop up window, but you can drag your finger over the bottom area to access, or cancel, the controls.
- Attendees: Activate to access contact info, send a private message, or mute yourself. Deactivate to access the main screen.
- Camera: Turn camera on & off. Must share the camera first with the app, then START from the main screen to activate the camera. Word of warning, if you STOP the camera, it only removes the camera view from your device, as it's still streaming to the webinar. Please be aware of this.
- Sub menu: Access Resources, Calendar, Update, Show the dial pad, and settings within the side menu. Once you activate the submenu, you must swipe left to right and navigate back through where you came from to access this area. You must navigate back to the Sub menu to close it. Not a fun way to interact with a submenu.

If you swipe left to right from the middle of the app:
- You gather information about the webinar. Dial in numbers, access code, meeting ID, international dial in numbers, meeting duration, and a mute/unmute icon.

Feel free to forward to developer.

Best,

Joshua

Our affiliate uses FreeConferenceCall.com as occasionally does Diabetes Action Network. But we've never messed with the app so I'll be as interested as you in responses.

Subject: [nfbcs] Question about FreeConferenceCall.com

I joined the NFB Crafters division which has lots of classes and a regular Monday night chat.

They use FreeConferenceCall.com to hold all these phone-conference meetings.
Most people aren't technical, and they simply call in using a regular phone.

I'm guessing other divisions might use the same service, and I felt asking this question on the Crafters' list wasn't entirely fair. I've had great success using a regular phone, and also using my favorite soft phone app for the PC (I run asterisk at home which makes this easy for me.)

But I also noticed FreeConferenceCall.com has a free app for the iDevices, which of course means no long-distance charges and no minute charges. I tried it out with yesterday's chat and the audio quality is superb; better than using a telephone.

My only issue with the app is that it has several unlabeled buttons and random things seemed to happen when I tried them. I didn't want to be messing up the chat experience for others so I didn't try to experiment too much with the app. Normally, I'd get in there and experiment, but not if it affects others!

Has anyone here had experience with the app or knows someone else who has?
I'll go ahead and review it on Applevis.com too and see if others respond.

Thanks.
