It's a great starting point. If you need to know what mobility services are available in your area, email: DBSinfo at dars.state.tx.us which is the email for the Austin, TX area office for blind services. 				No, they are not. 
Talk to your school. I wonder why your advisor didn't encourage you to do an internship sooner? 
Also, what have you heard about traveling, I'm confused as to what you mean and tying it to blindness... you just go do it.

I saw this also, but too late. Until my very last semester I didn't get to know anyone. Occasionally I'd overhear a fragment of conversation that involved internships and travel. I'm not really sure how all that travel works if you're blind. I hadn't thought to ask then, but I'm curious now. I would love an internship. Are they only available for current students?
