[nfbcs] jaws on virtual win10

Hi,
Jaws seems to work fine in a vm for me.
There is a little lag between when I hit a key on the keyboard and when the
speech comes out of the speakers, but this is something I have learned to
live with.
Having more than one os booted at one time is great for me.

Tom

It is possible, at least it was a few years ago. Although things have
probably improved, note that computers with a small amount of RAM may not
work as well for running JAWS in a VM because of the amount of memory that
JAWS uses.

Thanks,

The situation is a desktop client support class.
The class turns out to be using removable drives.
Last night we didn't install windows 10 on a new drive.
We used virtual box and installed windows 10 on a virtual drive on top of a
regular windows 7 install.
Fs support was no help and didn't know if installing/running jaws in a
virtual environment was possible.

Hello Brian,
Yes, I am running Jaws 18 on windows 10 creators addition under VMware
fusion on a MacBook. Not sure why you're asking, but I am running it
successfully. I did also run Jaws 17 on windows 10 in the VM prior to the
creators edition release.
Hope this helps,
Jeanine
