You haven't given us enough information to make 
recommendations?  What technology have you used? What will your major 
and minors be?
What tasks will you need to do? What do your friends use? Do you know 
Braille?  What are you comfortable with?

You should talk to an assistive technology specialist, not a bunch of 
well-meaning people on a list.
