[nfbcs] latex benefits

How advanced do my math skills need to be to learn LaTeX for generating database diagrams? I got my B.S. in information systems. The math courses I have taken are college algebra, basic calculus (often referred to as business calculus), basic probability and statistics, and business statistics.
