Hi All,

I am trying to setup a development environment at work for developing java
applications within a virtual machine. The point of this email is not java
or VMs, but screen readers in a remote desktop mode in order to perform
coding.

I have been doing some research, but I wanted to get a second opinion. I
know JAWS can remote desktop from one computer to another as long as JAWS is
running on both machines and both computers is a Windows OS.

Can NVDA remote desktop from one machine to another where both machines are
running windows? Windows 7 will be used. I have to double check the NVDA
version, but I think it is the latest.

Does orca have the ability to remote desktop now. I have tried to get on an
orca mailing list in the past but had difficulty subscribing. My client
computer is windows 7 and orca is on Linux CentOS 6. I read somewhere that
orca is NOT by default compiled into the normal distribution. Can orca
remote desktop back to a windows OS?

I am also dealing with a closed and secure network, so all remote desk top
sessions have to be secure connections. I say this because I heard orca with
a VNC connection needs to be password less.
