In word, if you go into options (Alt+F followed by t in Word 2016), on the display tab there should be checkboxes for showing special symbols including space markers. If you make sure those items aren't checked, JAWS should stop saying space.

Subject: [nfbcs] Does anyone know how to set JAWS stop saying "space marker" in MS word 2016?

Hello,

For some reasons, my JAWS 18 keeps saying "space marker" for any whitespace in MS word.

My punctuation level is set as "some" and I do not know what caused this issue.

It would be so much appreciated if someone could help me tackle this problem as it is so bugging me.

Sincerely,

JooYoung
