[nfbcs] Thunderbird Email and Hyperlinks in Email Messages

Greetings:

 

I am using Thunderbird, a free email client from Mozilla. Unfortunately,
hyperlinks do not work when one attempts either to press Enter on them or to
right click on them and then select "Open link in a browser".

 

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this behavior and whether someone
has found a way around this difficulty.
