Does the link open in a new window if you use shift-enter on it, instead of
just enter? I often use shift-enter to get a site in a new window, when I'm
googling or whatever.
HTH.

Subject: [nfbcs] A Job Search Site Using Jaws

Hello to the list.
I like to use the Indeed.com web site so that clients may learn how to
perform job searches using Jaws 2018 or Jaws 2019.
After executing the job search, all of the job listings may be accessed
using the Headings command, the letter H, which lands on each result which
is also a link.
Now, here is where the problem occurs.
After executing the link, in the past, the detailed job info would open in
a new window, making it a very seamless and simple experience to read the
job details, and to locate the Apply link.
Now, using Firefox, or Chrome, or Internet Explorer, when activating the
link, a new window no longer opens, Jaws remains silent, but the pertinent
information is way way down on the page, pressing the letter N will
eventually find the newly displayed information, but it is very confusing
for the client.
I have had the exact same experience with simplyhired.com I am hoping that
there is a better web site to use, or to somehow tell these web browsers
that we want a link to open in a new window when activated, instead of
displaying the relevant information further down on the same page.
Any suggestions will be highly welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks..
