[nfbcs] PDF with words run together

Nicole,

It is possible to open a PDF document with the recent versions of Word, but
I have not had the positive results others have had doing that. In one
case, none of the periods were brought into the Word document, for example.
Sometimes, it works well, so it is an option to keep in mind. I am not sure
which versions of Word and/or Windows support this, though, so I know that
there are situations when this doesn't work.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

You have to save it as Word, not open it with Word, which is only
available if you have Acrobat--the regular Adobe Reader does not have this
option. Normally, this does not help much anyway. I have Adobe Acrobat, so,
if you want, I can try to do something with it later today if you want.

Thanks Doug. The option Left-to-right, top-to-bottom worked better.
There are still some words run together, but a lot less.
I also tried Nancy's idea of opening it with Word, but there must be a lot
of images or something--Word wouldn't read much.
Thanks to both of you. NFBCS comes through again!
