Mohith,

We enhanced Notepad++ support in the latest JAWS update. Would you try it again and if you still have problems, let me know?

Thanks

Hi Michael,

Notepad++ works well with NVDA but I did not have smooth experience with JAWS.
Visual Studio Code (VS Code) is best with the scren readers. I guess you need to press Alt + F1 to turn on the accessibility.
The only issue with VS Code is the focus moves to the bottom of the file when Ctrl + S is pressed to save every time.
Eclipse is also good option. However it is heavy and you need to follow the keystrokes before starting with Eclipse and screen reader.

Hope it helps.

Thanks & Regards,
Mohith B. P.
