LiveWell RERC’s App Factory invites proposals for funding of development of assistive/accessibility apps

The LiveWell Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center invites proposals to its App Factory project for development of assistive or accessibility applications for mobile platforms (e.g., Android, iOS, Windows), sensors, home automation, smart speakers, wearables, Internet of Things (IoT) and/or cloud computing. Organizations and individuals with relevant expertise are invited to submit their proposals to enhance the use and usability of consumer technologies for people of all ages and abilities. The LiveWell RERC's is funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). Its mission is to promote access to information and communication technologies (ICT) for everyone, and to develop and validate ICT applications to improve the capacity for independent living and community participation.

Proposals for 2019-2020 are due by August, 15 2019.
