[NFBCS] odd windows address book problem

I use the mail client native to windows 10. 
I’ve noticed that it picks up every. Single. Address that has ever sent me mail, places like Amazon, Sears, that sort of thing. 
These addresses are not in my windows people app, they seem to only exist in the autocomplete list contained within the windows mail client. 
Anybody know how I can erase them? Hitting the delete key when I encounter them doesn’t work.
