[NFBCS] Accessible Python Editor?

I mostly use VS code at work as well and I can use it for Python.  Depending upon your career trajectories, you should look into as many platforms as possible though.  I've had differing les of access to code and editors since the late 1980's, so I can work in the Unix, Linix, Windows, IOS, and Android environments just by changing machines or running a virtual machine.

I have heard from several reliable sources that Visual Studio code is accessible. I've taken a look at it, and it does seem to be at first glance. I'm just getting started myself, and don't have direct experience, but I trust the folks who told me.
