If you have a large PDF, Adobe Acrobat will automatically break it into pages, which you must scroll through. You can specify how big a document is before it is broken into pages. I believe the default is fifty, but you can change this in Adobe Reader Preferences.

            I think that Adobe has changed the way that Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat display PDF's. It used to be that I could access any part of the document without having to make the screen scroll. Now, it only shows one or two pages at a time, so I cannot use web navigation to move around the entire PDF. What is the best page view setting continuous reading?
